Denver Museum of Nature and Science

Saturday, March 13, 2010
To put it shortly, we are not the type of people who live in a place and never experience what that place has to offer.  Even if we only plan on being in that place a short time (as we did our four months in Houston, TX), that just means less time to fit everything in.  We make it a point to: see/visit the big cities that neighbor ours, eat at restaurants that are less familiar (if at all), spend time in and/or camp in its rugged outdoors, support the local sporting events, and experience the culture/history each place has to offer however possible.  So, in efforts to do the later, we took the kids to the Denver Museum of Nature and Science.

Hands on: 1 star;  Animals GALORE: 1 star;  Dinosaurs: 1 star;  IMAX theatre: 1 star; Stroller Friendly: 1 star...I could go on (food, gift shops, mummies, Bodyworks, etc etc etc).  Lets just say that it was a five (plus) star experience- in our book and the kids- and we'll leave it at that!

That's so awesome that you always experience the cities you live in. We should all do that more often.
